An experience that i take with me for a lifetime

Words are not enough to thank the love and affection I received at the Mariapolis. For me it has been a wonderful volunteer experience.

It was a great opportunity to practice and improve my Portuguese, as well as allowing me to meet people from different parts of the world and exchange experiences. Although I share the idea that the Focolare Movement proposes for society, I am thinking of seeking more information and making contact when I arrive in my city.

As for the tasks I did as a volunteer, I felt very comfortable with my co-workers at the Mariapolis Center and I really liked the job they gave me. I want to thank in particular the focolarini because they welcomed me very well. I would still like to make an observation, it seems to me, making a comparison between the social projects and the Mariapolis Center, I think it is still important to organize some issues in the Mariapolis Center to improve the work. This is my opinion after this period that I was there.

To conclude, it is very important for me, being a foreigner, to highlight the warmth of the Brazilian people. Although at the beginning it was not easy for me to communicate, people helped me a lot to speak and express myself well.

This is the summary of my experience in Brazil, which will surely be recorded for a lifetime!
