Its goals

Fazenda da Esperança is a therapeutic community active since 1983 in the recovery process of people seeking freedom from their addictions, in particular from alcohol and drugs. His reception method contemplates three decisive aspects: work as a pedagogical process; Living with the family; and Spirituality to find the meaning of life.

The Farm has its doors open in all Brazilian states to welcome men and women weakened by drug use, transforming pain into joy. The number of communities in the world has already exceeded one hundred units structured in the countries of Asia, Africa, America and Europe, constantly growing due to the globalization of the serious social problems that afflict humanity.

People who identify with the Charism of the Farm can find their vocation in the Church as part of the Family of Hope.

Main activities carried out

The Fazenda da Esperança welcomes people between the ages of 18 and 59 who wish to free themselves from drugs, alcohol and many other types of addictions. It is necessary to enter a 12-month pedagogical process. Those who intend to face this challenge take the first step through a letter written in their own hand, expressing the reasons for their desire to seek a new life. Anyone interested in a vacancy should send their request for help to the community closest to their residence.

He thus allows relatives to visit him from the third month onwards, when relationships are resumed, to overcome together the problems generated by drugs and alcohol.
