MilongaFest 2026: Connecting Purposes, Transforming Realities

  • 1 min read

MilongaFest is a Brazilian initiative born from the desire to strengthen bonds and collaboration between young people and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working across various social fronts. This experience complements the international Milonga program, promoting volunteering as a tool for fraternity and intercultural exchange.

It will be a week entirely dedicated to serving others, aiming to provide a practical, human, and deeply transformative experience.

How will it work?

During June and July 2026, you can choose one of the partner organizations to live a week of voluntary exchange. Activities vary by location, including workshops, support for educational projects, community activities, and integration actions with children, adolescents, immigrants, and people with disabilities.

Participating Organizations – 2026 Edition:

  • Projeto Acolhida (Benevides, PA): June 22 to June 26

  • Fraternidade na Unidade (Curitiba, PR): June 20 to June 28

  • Casulo (Bragança Paulista, SP): July 13 to July 17

  • AACA (Recife, PE): July 27 to July 31

  • Fazenda da Esperança (Guaratinguetá, SP): TBD
