We have communicated with all the young people, volunteers, social organizations, and local communities, that given the situation we are facing with the expansion of COVID-19, we have decided to suspend all volunteer experiences that began in the first half of 2020.
Although it was not an easy decision to make, we feel that as global citizens it is our responsibility to doour part for the prevention of the further spread of this pandemic.
For this reason, and thinking of our mutual care, we ask those that have already planned their trips to postpone them until this emergency has passed in every country. We are available if you need to speak with us. This situation will pass and you can be certain that your service will be more necessary than ever.
We make ourselves available for each and every social organization and community that makes up this program. We know that you work with people in different conditions of vulnerability who have been especially affected by the quarantines, and other measures taken by governments. If we can help with anything, count on our support.
From milONGa, we join the worldwide call to abide by the preventative measures of each country, and in particular, STAYING AT HOME. This is the best way to break the contagious cycle, to take care of ourselves, and to take care of our neighbors.
